Annual Meeting of Stockholders South Carolina Railroad
Company and Southwestern Railroad Bank |
12th February, 1862 |
The meeting, pursuant to adjournment,
convened at 11 o'clock a. m. No business being brought before it, a
motion to adjourn to 4 o'clock p. m. was made and carried. |
At 4 o'clock p. m. the meeting again
convened, T. B. Clarkson, Esq., in the Chair. |

The usual Committee on Proxies, and
Managers of Elections for 1863, were appointed by the Chair, and,
after adopting a resolution complimentary to its Chairman, the meeting
adjourned sine die. |
At a meeting of the Board of Directors of
the Railroad, held immediately after the adjournment, John Caldwell,
Esq., was unanimously reelected President for the ensuing year. |
