The steam ferry boat at the Tennessee
river, on the M. C. & L. Railroad {Memphis,
Clarksville & Louisville RR}, was torn from her moorings by
a gale of wind on Saturday night and drifted down the river. Her smoke
stacks were blown down, and she was otherwise considerably injured. |
