From the Columbus (Ga.) Enquirer

Returned From the Wars
We learn from the Columbus Times, that the Local has arrived, having seen the elephant in Atlanta, to his entire satisfaction. Though not Gray-zed by any Yankee bullets, he seems to have suffered considerably in a box car, that some inhuman conductor placed him in. If the combined efforts of the Local, of the Times, and the Editor of the Enquirer, (who was in the same box), don't annihilate that conductor, he is certainly proof.
