We learn that the locomotive "Ravenel"
was thrown off the track at Gourdin's Station, Northeastern Rail Road,
Wednesday morning, and precipitated into the culvert. No person was
injured. It is believed to have been caused by the malicious
interference of some deserters or "galvanized Yankees" with
the track. |
