Notice to Contractors
 
Eng'rs Office Columbia & Hamburg R. R.
Columbia, S. C., October 9, 1863
 
   Proposals will be received till the 10th November, for the Graduation and Masonry of about fifteen or twenty miles of the Columbia & Hamburg Rail Road, beginning at Columbia. This Road will have some very desirable work, and is through a healthy section. Profiles and specifications of the work can be seen at the Office of the Company after October 25.
   The Company will probably be able to furnish most of the tools necessary.
