Charleston & Savannah Rail Road |
On and after Thursday, November 1st, this Road will be
open for the transportation of Passengers and Freight between the
Cities of Charleston and Savannah.

Rates of Freight on Cotton
|
The rate on Cotton from Savannah to Charleston will be 15
cents per 100 lbs.
|
Cotton consigned to Charleston from Columbus, Albany,
Eufaula, Macon or other Stations South or Southwest of Macon, will go
through by being transferred at Savannah from car to car, and then
charged at regular rates from all points to Savannah.

Freight received for Macon, Columbus, Americus, Albany,
and all the Stations upon the Central, Macon and Western, and
Southwestern Rail Roads, will go through promptly by being transferred
fr?? expense from car to car at Savannah.
