| We have late information from Gen.
Jackson's army, ***** A number of cars of the Baltimore & Ohio
Railroad were taken at the Ferry {Harpers Ferry}
and on Winchester road {Winchester &
Potomac RR}. Nothing was known by our informant of the measures
employed by Jackson to effect the permanent disabling of the Baltimore
& Ohio Railroad, but they were known to be ample. |
