A telegraphic dispatch from
Col. S. L. Fremont, the Engineer and Superintendent of the Wilmington
& Weldon Railroad, dated at Wilmington, N. C., Jan. 7th, says:
"The bridge over the Neuse river, which was destroyed by the
enemy, has been rebuilt, and the trains now pass over it." |
