Manassas Gap Railroad |
The Rockingham Register says:
"The work on the Manassas Gap Railroad, we are pleased to state, will
still go forward, notwithstanding the war and the financial difficulties
of the country. The rails are being brought up from Alexandria, and the
track-laying will soon commence. We are happy to know, that the people
of the upper part of the Valley will soon be able to take the cars at
home, without going twenty-five miles to do it." |
