Office East Tenn. & Ga. Railroad Co.
Augusta, Ga., 1st July, 1864

Coupons of this company, maturing today, and those past due, will be paid in New Currency on presentation at this office.
This Road being in the hands of the enemy, with the important bridges over the Tennessee and Hiwassee Rivers burnt, and much other valuable property destroyed, I earnestly advise and urge the holders of Coupons to send them in for payment while an opportunity offers for getting the money.
Campbell Wallace
President
