Resolutions Concerning Seizure of Iron Belonging to the Atlantic & N. C. Railroad
 
   Resolved, That in the opinion of this General Assembly, the Confederate authorities have no right to seize iron or any part thereof, in the possession of the Atlantic & N. C. railroad company, and do hereby protest against the contemplated seizure of the same.
   Resolved, That His Excellency, the Governor, be requested to transmit a copy of these resolutions to the secretary of war, and to insist that the said iron shall not be seized and transferred from the State and company to another corporation. [Ratified this 12th day of February, 1863]
