| Your letter of the 5th Inst in which you
apply on behalf of the Raleigh & Gaston RR Co, a corporation of
North Carolina, for the detail of three men from the army of
Northern Virginia under the command of Genl Lee has been rec'd. The
army of Genl Lee is in such circumstances that the detail can not be
made. |
