Dear Sir, |
|
I hereby certify that the Vicksburg, Shreveport, &
Texas Railroad was completed to Monroe, and the Cars passed over the
entire line from the bank of the Mississippi river to the bank of the
Ouachita river, a distance of Seventy four miles and 120 feet on the
27th day of January 1861. |
