   Amos Barber having been returned by the Superintendent of the New Orleans R. R. as an employee on said Road is hereby declared exempt from Enrollment as a conscript under the act of Congress entitled an "act to organize forces to serve during the war" Approved Feby 17th 1864 until further orders. This employee exemption to be in force only so long as said Barber remains in the employ of said R. R. and in the event of his absence at any time leave of absence from some foreman on said Road must accompany this exemption.
