| At a meeting of the Directory of the Texas & New
Orleans Railroad Compy held at their Office in the City of Houston
this 27th of April 1863, the following Resolution was
unanimously adopted, to wit: |
| That the Contract made and entered into by
the President of this Company with the Confederate States of America
by Capt Thos B Lee Junr of the P. A. and dated April the 25th 1863 for
the purposes mentioned in said Contract be and the same is hereby
fully ratified and affirmed, and that a copy of this Resolution under
the seal of the Company be furnished by the Secretary to the said Capt
Thos B Lee Jr. |
