| Genl Sam Jones telegraphs that he will
send here two (2) Regiments Infantry and a Battalion of dismounted
men, and also two other Regiments of Infantry as soon as
transportation can be provided, and that Superintendent of Va. &
Tenn. R. R. telegraphs that transportation will be ready tomorrow
(the 16th Instant) and next day. You will, if possible, be ready
with transportation to bring them on from Lynchburg. |
