Sir, |
|
I understand that one of the Prisoners taken by our forces
on last saterday near flat creek bridge was George Tuck from Halifax who
was a conductor of one of the freight trains on the R&D RR about 18
months back I understand that his Brother also disented and went to the
Yankees -- his brother may be a prisoner also they may assume some other
name I thot it best to inform you of it knowing you would investigate
the matter and find out whether or not he was pititing the yankees the
RR I have no dubot that it was he identified by most ??y of the Rail
Road men that has bene on the Road two or three years. |
