| Genl Leadbetter has ordered more iron to
be taken from the Alabama & Fla RR of Florida. I have protested
against this in behalf of the Company whose interest will greatly
suffer by the act in behalf of the state. the road being included in
its internal improvement system in behalf of the families of
soldiers in the service of the Confederate States who by the
destruction of this road will be cut off from communication with
husbands brothers sons & necessary supplies this road is also
necessary for the effective defence of this section please have the
order commanded {countermanded?} |
