| On the 25 ulto you were so
kind as to detail certain men to work in our shops. I made a mistake in
the name and regiment of one of the men. I asked for William Martin Co.
E 41st Virginia a detail for which name was sent me. But the man's mane
is W. A. Martin Co K 12th Virginia. The man was here in the hospital and
had just been arrested as a deserter. I enclose the original detail and
ask the favor to have the name and Regiment altered, as he is able to go
to work and I need his services badly. |
