   I have the honor to enclose invoices & duplicate receipts of powder shipped to you this day. It will go by passenger train tomorrow {Charleston & Savannah RR}. I send at the same time fifty cartridges (10 lbs) for 8" Columbiad to make good the invoice for 100 cartridges I have left on hand

I mention this that you may know how much to depend upon should Gen Lee order it to Savannah. I also sent an 8" bolbd., carriage & platform &c which I hope you will find to be well fitted. The last I am trying to get on the passenger train also.
