herewith a letter from the Supt. of the Richmond & Danville R. R.
reporting an alleged interference by the Capt. of the "Obey Battery"
with the regular management of the road, as arranged between the
officials and the Qr Mast Genl. Dept. Such conduct is very reprehensible
and the Genl. Comdg desires you to call upon the officer in question for
report of his conduct in the premises, and in all such cases, that may
come to notice within your command, to make the matter the subject of
investigation by a court martial. |
