| The Superintendent of the
Richmond & Danville Railroad informs me that he can furnish two trains
per week for carrying convalescent soldiers from this Hospital to
Richmond, and suggests that the days for running be so fixed that the
same train can bring the soldiers to Danville from Richmond and return
with men going to duty. I would therefore suggest that you fix two days
for this special train to run. It might come up on Mondays and Thursdays
and return on Thursdays and Fridays. |
