| You will proceed to Gen Joe E Johnsons
Head Quarters Morton Miss and report to him for duty as an Assistant
Engineer If he can employ your services in the Engineering operations
with his army or in the repairs of Rail Roads and the collection of RR
iron and Rolling Stock from the abandoned roads of Mississippi your
compensation to be paid by any officer disbursing Engineer Funds. will
be at the rate of $100.00 per month |
