Sir,
I have written you 3 or 4 times & it seems like it is allmost impossible for me to hear from you. I wrote you on 1st, the cause of the delay in getting Lime through but have not heard from you yet. I wrote to know what to do in regard to shipping Lime in this long & rainey spell the Railroads will not take the Lime unless I make my self responsible for the losses which may be caused by the weather which I did not do & will not do without a written order from you. There is such a press for Lime  the Roads are in such bad order that if I could get as much Lime as I wanted I could not get more than two car loads hault a week
Very Respectfully
