At last the construction of
the Rail Road connection between the Savannah & Albany RR & the
Jacksonville & Florida RR {Pensacola & Georgia RR}
has been ordered by the war department & Major Meriwether
Engineer Corps ordered to build it at once. Can he not be hurried with
the work.
