I have to report under advises
from Captain Henry McCoy AQM & AACS Salisbury N Carolina that upon
my order for the stoppage of 10 Hhds Sugar at his post, he sent his
Clerk to Charlotte to have the same exeented, that Fourteen Hogsheads
were started from Charlotte, from which he was to get 10 Hhds on
arrival at Salisbury. |
Upon the arrival of the Car,
in consequence of a collision on the Road {North
Carolina RR}, only 6 Hhds Sugar were delivered the balance
stated to have been destroyed or retained by the Company |
