   William H. Lofton Age 18 years. Dark Complexion Black hair Black Eyes 5 feet 8 inches high having been duly examined by Lt Geo. Lumpkin Surgeon of the Camp and pronounced by him unfit for Military Services on a/c of injury to chest and lungs is hereby exempted from the operations of the Conscript Act and all Enrolling officers will respect the same accordingly
