| You are hereby authorized to
settle the accounts of the Memphis & Charleston Rail road against the
Government for transportation at the following prices, until further
orders. For troops 4 cents per mile, for freight 25 miles or less 20c,
50 miles 30c, 75 miles 40c, 100 miles 50c per 100 lbs. Hay stock baggage
and wagons to be rated as 12000 lbs per car load. These rates to take
effect from 1st Dec lat. |
