I have the honor to request
your valuable aid in obtaining an extension of details for soldiers now
in the service of this Company, and a list of whose names &c, I have the
honor to enclose herewith. I would state that, these men are all skilled
in their several branches of mechanism &c, and their personal services,
are, not only highly useful, but indispensable for the efficient
operations of the road. Your early attention to the matter will be much
appreciated by |

to the S. C. RRd they are all first class Machinists & Engineers The
Machinery of the road is very much out of repair and I would
respectfully request that the details be sent forward at as early a date
