| In reply to your favor of 2d inst. I agree
to increase the rates for govt transportation performed by your road
from the tariff at present allowed you to that established at the Conference held on
the 29th of September 1864 thus placing you on a parity with the
Virginia roads, the
same to take effect from the 1 December 1864. |
