| Your esteemed favor of 7th inst is
before me and in reply beg to inform you that the allowance for loss
in weight of Government freight I referred to in prior letter of 23d
October will be settled on the bill of lading. I must ??el inside
??? on all payable transferred forms ??? ??? to the other being ??ed
as also at the original point of shipment. |
| The claim against your road for loss on
shoes is still undergoing investigation and will claim my further
attention so soon as the result is made known to me. |
