Danville R. Rd. Co. I have enquired at the War Department &
elsewhere & find they have no shadow of authority to impress
anything. I shall therefore impech you to continue our
contract supply & indeed increase it, & also to resist these lawless
seizures of property, especially when already in the service of the
govt. |

give you every security necessary to do so, which you shall have. |
