| I forwarded today communication from
Ordce Bureau, from Genl Jorgas, showing that the
{Richmond &} Danville R. Rd Co
has no authority to impress, and has no right whatsoever to
interfere with Mr Farmer, if they had. |
| You will please therefore insist on Mr
Farmer's supplying your lumber, & order him to resist any
effort of the Company to take possession of his mill. |
| You had better attend this matter at
once as his lumber is now very important to us. |
