| In reply to yours under date of 11th inst
reporting the loss of your duplicate on returned Quarter Master's papers
&c. I have to inform you that so far as your standing with the Dept is
concerned, you will not be effected thereby, you having forwarded the
originals of the papers to this office (as stated in your letter). |
| If, however, you wish copies of your
papers & can furnish a clerk he will be allowed to make the same as has
been done by other officers heretofore. |
