| I am gratified to learn that it is in your
power to extend to the Rail Road Companies in your region of Country
some facilities for repairing their rolling stock. You are authorized
to transfer to them, to the extent their necessities may require, any
excess of metal you may have. The fair value, thereof, should be
charged to the transportation account of the receiving road, and to
that end you will notify the paying officers. |
