| The transportation coupons supplied to soldiers from
Atlanta and Macon to Richmond are so arranged, that but one coupon is
provided from Weldon to Richmond. |
| There are, as you know, two separate roads from Weldon,
the Petersburg & Weldon {Petersburg RR},
and the Richmond & Petersburg. The coupon is necessarily taken up by the
latter road, and great inconvenience in the settlement of accounts is
thus caused to the former. |
| You will, therefore, hereafter have separate coupon
tickets for each of these roads, and you are requested to notify the
agents at Macon, by whom transportation is furnished, of this order. |
