you are authorized to retain while there is remaining necessity therefore
the 3 Clerks, Store Keeper & Watchman specified in said
application, at the same rate of pay heretofore allowed. You can also retain
the transportation agent and Six Negro laborers transferred to you by Majr Rhett, as per his description list enclosed in your letter of 6th
inst. |
