| I am in receipt of your telegram of yesterday
requesting an answer to your letter of the 12th, and that I would direct
the withdrawal of the draft for the Locomotive from the account now
being settled by Major Bransford. |
| I enclose you a copy of my last communication to Major
Bransford on the subject. It may be that this was not received, or if
received by him, that you have not seen it. It is the best that I can do
in the matter, as at present advised, and in the midst of conflicting
statements. |
