| Mr. B. L. Jacobs, Special Agent of the
Quarter Master's Department is directed to report to you for duty in
connection with the Rail Road Transportation of supplies for the Army
of Northern Virginia. He will be able it is believed, to arrange and
systematize the running of trains and the prompt transportation of
supplies, in a short time; so that his service will be but temporary. |

with, I desire that he may be relieved, to report here for other duty. |
