You will ship per steamer every day of the
week, about one hundred & fifty thousand pounds public supplies
destined for Pensacola. Commence sending the kind of supplies most
required at Pensacola. The object of this arrangement is not to
receive at one time more freight that the Rail Road can take off --
and it will also avoid the accumulation of stores at Montgomery in
transit. |
