will rendezvous at Nashville, one Alabama Regiment at Dalton, two
Louisiana Regiments, and two Mississippi Regiments, all intended to
pass over your Road en route for Lynchburg, reply to me at once by
telegraph, how many troops you can move daily, prepare at once, to
move them rapidly. Confirm with the road, East of you {the
East Tennessee & Virginia RR} to be ready to move in
connection with you. Send C. B. Wallace {Superintendent,
East Tennessee & Georgia RR} down at once to arrange
details, for Quartermaster General Confederate States. |
