| Yours of 29th ultimo has been received & promptly
attended to. Long Forage was sent to Genl Young yesterday. As to the
stoppage of the trains at a platform near Hamilton Crossing. I beg leave
to refer you to the endorsement of Mr Daniel Prest of the Road
{Richmond, Fredericksburg & Potomac RR}, on
your letter, herewith enclosed for your information. Please return the
