ins has been referred to this office, by the Sec. of War. The
detention of the cars of your road at Raleigh has been brought to the
attention of this Bureau, & Maj. Pierce was at once telegraphed
that your cars must be unloaded promptly on arrival, even though the
corn was exposed for a time, until it could be forwarded. |
