| Complaint from the Ordnance
Department has been made concerning four boxes of ammunition shipped by
mail train from Petersburg on 8th December, and which did not leave
Weldon until 18th, boxes marked to Major H. Myers, Mobile, Alabama. The
Quarter Master General wishes from you some account as to why these
boxes were detained so long at Weldon. |
