Sir,
   I have received from Mason Morfit Transportation Agent, at Petersburg a letter stating that freight is accumulating at that point. If so, I desire that you will give the matter your attention.
   Since your appointment as Asst. Q Master, and location at Petersburg, there can hardly be occasion for a transportation agent, and if Mr Morfits position entails any expense, you had better notify him that he will not be required to act in future.
