| Mr B. B. Lewis has been appointed a Transportation
Agent and ordered to report to you. This is intended to relieve you of
the details of the business of transportation, thus enabling you to give
more attention to the other duties devolving upon you as Post Qr Mr. You
will still be held the officer responsible to this office, and the
channel of all communication. Mr. Lewis will be expected to give his
personal and diligent attention to the details connected with R. R.
transportation, under your supervision. And if at any time this
arrangement be found to be unsatisfactory you will report the fact
officially to this office. |
