| Have arrived called on Capt. Lucas I find that he has
made every necessary preparation for the transferring of army
supplies across the two Rivers at the Burnt Bridges Capt Lucas has
just arrived from there today he has forwarded to you a report of
his proceedings which I think will meet the demand I leave for
Knoxville in the morning to see the president of the East Tenn. Rail
