| Respectfully retd to QM Genl. Maj Morfit
writes that the QMG appointed him Supt of RR transportation from
Petersburg to Weldon & Raleigh and claims exclusive jurisdiction in his
district. He also announces in the same communication that he has the
Signal officer in his Dept and it is not to be supposed that he should
be placed under the orders of "his juniors." These statements indicate
that this paper has taken a wrong direction. |
