| Suggests that transportation be furnished
the Factories in Richd & Petersburg working for Govt on cotton from
Southern markets. Refd by Lt Col Cone. |

| Retd to Col Cone. If the parties in whose
favor this application is made will purchase the cotton at convenient
points in N. C. Rail Rd transportation to the extent of 600 bales per
month will be provided by the Govt. The 600 bales shd be apportioned to
the different cos. In the way deemed best this office shd be notified of
the action taken & where the cos may place their cotton in order that
Maj Sims may be instructed on the subject. |
