Dear Sir, |
Enclosed I send you the
Conductor in charge of the mail train turned back from Chewalla
by order of Genl. Hogg and to which I wish to call your attention there
are six soldier trains now at the camping ground the first of which left
Memphis yesterday noon and was delayed. the other trains left Memphis
last night and this morning. |
